Maintenance

Maintenance Guidelines

  • Wipe the mats with a damp cloth or paper towel before first use. During the manufacturing process of mats, dust is generated when sanding and polishing are performed to achieve a smooth finish. This dust is harmless and can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth or paper towel.
  • Soaking the mats or pouring a large amount of water on them can quickly reduce their absorbency.
  • Avoid drying the mat in direct sunlight or any heat source, as it may crack or warp. We recommend air drying in a well- ventilated area.
  • Soaps or foreign substances containing surfactants can decrease the mat's absorbency.
  • If the mats absorbs colored liquids, sauces, or grease, they may stain. So the best way is to expose the mat only to clean water.
  • If the mats get stained, Light stains can be wiped away with a damp cloth or wet wipe, while tougher stains can be sanded with the included sandpaper. Afterward, simply keep it in a well-ventilated area.
  • If you use the mats without following the maintenance guidelines, their absorbency may decrease rapidly, so we recommend using the product in accordance with the maintenance guidelines.
